Leaders Harbour View scored an impressive 3-1 away win over third-placed Waterhouse at Drewsland in the feature Digicel Premier League (DPL) matchup.

Goals by Rafiek Thomas (23rd), Jermaine Hue (46+) and Andre Fagan (94th) minutes led Harbour View to their table-topping 15th win of the season and moved to 51 points.

They are three ahead of defending champion Tivoli Gardens and with a game in hand against St Georges, the Stars of the East could extend that to six.

Vincent Earle scored Waterhouse’s consolation goal in the 75th minute as the Drewsland club remained winless in the third round.

Waterhouse, which won eight of 11 second rounds games, was suffering their second consecutive defeat inside four days. The Drewsland team remained in third spot on 41 points.

Meanwhile champions Tivoli Gardens clipped arch rival Arnett Gardens 1-0 courtesy of a Navion Boyd 38th minute penalty.

Tivoli with their 12th win are on 45 points just three behind the leader in what is turning into a two horse race.

Arnett miserable season continued and despite a strong second half showing, they succumbed to their 12th loss from 25 games and remained rooted to the bottom on 23 points.

At Collie Smith Drive, the visiting Portmore United registered their first win in 10 attempts with a come from behind 2-1 win over Boys’ Town.

George Vernal had headed the Red Brigades into the lead in the 15th minute before Carlington Smith pulled Portmore leveled two minutes later. Mario Swaby got the winner in the 36th minute for a rare Portmore win.

It was only their sixth win from 24 games and it propelled them two spots to ninth on 27 points.

In the Clarendon derby at Brancourt, home team Sporting Central Academy were held to a 1-1 draw by Humble Lions.
Hughan Gray gave Sporting Central a third minute lead before Denzil Watson earned a share of the points for Humble Lions in the 34th minute.
So in three meetings to date, Sporting has the bragging rights having won once while the other two games ended in draws.
Sporting with that point moved to 30 points while still in seventh with Humble Lions slipped two spots to 10th on 27 points.

At the UWI Bowl, August Town edged St George’s 2-1 to seriously dent the Portland’s team title ambitions.
Daniel Shaw opened the scoring from the penalty spot in the 12th minute against his old club which he left in January before Delroy James levelled the game in the 74th minute.
Another new signee Fabian Dawkins got the winner for August Town five minutes from time for a crucial win.
It was August Town’s fourth win in the last six games and it pushed them two places up to eighth on 28 points.
St Georges which has seen their title hopes slowly fading away, remained fifth on 37 points, 14 behind Harbour View with 13 games remaining.

Over at the Elliston Wakeland Centre in Trelawny, Village United and Rivoli United played to a tame 0-0 draw. However, while Rivoli stayed sixth with 30 points, Village dropped two spots into the relegation zone on 27 points in what will be a dog fight to the end.
